May Kalleco
TWIN LAKES — Services for May Marilynn Kalleco, 64, will be 1 p.m., July 1, at Rollie Mortuary. The Rev. Dennis Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Kalleco died June 27, 2011, in Albuquerque. She was born Oct. 6, 1946, in Rehoboth, into the Water Flowering Together People Clan for the Folded Arms People Clan.
Kalleco attended school in Idaho. She was self-employed as a silversmith and rancher.
Survivors include her son, Joshua Carlson; daughters, Arlene Dixon, Amanda Carlson, Jamie Carlson, Lenora Begay; brothers, Edison Becenti, Benjamin Becenti, Raymond Becenti; sisters, Mary B. Tommie, Dorothy Becenti.
Kalleco was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Becenti, Lillian Becenti; sisters, Florence Detsoi, Irene Becenti; husband, Jimmie Kalleco; one grandson.
Pallbearers will be Amos Detsoi, Wilmore Detsoi, Otis Detsoi, Brandon Jones, Lloyd Becenti, Kevin Wylie.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Twin Lakes Chapter House, following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arlene Dixon.

David Kalectaca
TEMPE — Funeral services for David Kalectaca, 43, will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 1, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Fort Defiance. The Rev. Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be in Dodge family ranch, Crystal. Visitation will be 9 a.m., July 1, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Fort Defiance.
Kalectaca died June 22, 2011, in Phoenix. He was born March 10, 1968, in Keams Canyon, into the Black Sheep People Clan for the Fog (Water) People Clan.
Kalectaca received his BS in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University. He worked with the Pima Maricopa Irrigation Project, Gila River Indian Community, Indian Health Service Scholarship. His hobbies included hiking, basketball, running and golf.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene A. Kalectaca of Tempe; sons, Waylon M. Kalectaca, Michael R. Kalectaca, both of Tempe; mother, Amy Kalectaca of Gilbert; brother, Duane C. Kalectaca of Gilbert; sister, Lynn Fredericks of Kykotsmovi; grandparents, Agens Dodge of Crystal, Benjamin Dodge of Crystal, Tirzah Kalectaca of Shumgopavi, Ariz., Bruce Kalectaca of Misunghovi.
Kalectaca was preceded in death by his father, Milo Kalectaca.
Pallbearers will be Duane Kalectaca, Tristen Lucero, Hiran Jim, Aidan Fredericks, Richard Dodge, Randy Charley.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Dodge Ranch burial grounds, following services.

Fred Scaggari
GALLUP — Funeral services for Fred Scaggari, 73, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 1, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Gallup. The Rev. O’Keefe will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. A rosary will be recited 10 a.m., Friday, July 1, at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Scaggari died June 29, 2011, in Gallup. He was born June 1, 1937, in Gallup.
Scaggari attended Gallup High School until 1955 and UNM from 1955-1957. He worked at Gallup Sporting Goods from 1977-2002 and Dan’s Bar from 1960-1996. His hobbies included being with his grandchildren, bowling, camping, all sports including football, baseball, and family time.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Scaggari; sons, Freddie Scaggari Jr., Chris Scaggari, Rick Scaggari; daughter, Dee Dee Scaggari-Hart; six grandchildren.
Scaggari was preceded in death by Dan and Ann Scaggari.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Scaggari, Chris Scaggari, Rick Scaggari, Will Scaggari, Cody Scaggari, Phil Hart.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 1507 Sierra Dr., following services.

Grace Tolino
COYOTE CANYON — Funeral services for Grace Silversmith Tolino, 104, will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 1, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Edgar Yazzie will officiate. Burial will be in Tohatchi Community Cemetery.
Tolino died June 26, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Jan. 6, 1907, in Brimhall, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Red Streaked People Clan.
Tolino was a homemaker. Her hobbies included cooking, traditional basket weaving, enjoyed rodeo activities and enjoyed time with family and grandchildren. She was very open with love and caring and traditional respect to others.
Survivors include her son, Albert Tolino; daughter, Darlene Smith; sister, Isabella Silversmith Tolino; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Tolino was preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Silversmith, Christine Silversmith; brothers, Tommy Silversmith, Frank Silversmith, Russell Silversmith; parents, Mike Widow Silversmith, Bah Silversmith.
Pallbearers will be Harlen Tolino, Brandon Tolino, Myron Gorman, Gilbert Tolino Jr., Brian Tolino, Nathaniel Tolino.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Coyote Canyon Chapter House, following services.

Nellie Tso
ROUND ROCK — Funeral services for Nellie Tso, 78, will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 1, at St. Isabel Mission, Lukachukai. The Rev. Blane Grein, OFM, will officiate. Burial will be in Lukachukai Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m, day of service.
Tso died June 26, 2011, in Phoenix. She was born Aug. 14, 1932, in Round Rock, into the Start of the Red Streak People Clan for the Reed People Clan.
Tso was a homemaker and rug weaver.
Survivors include her sons, David Tso of Salt Lake, Eugene Tso of Round Rock, Don Tso of St. Michaels, Rey Tso of Lukachuakai; daughters, Florence Tso of Round Rock, Vicky Matchers of Phoenix.
Tso was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Tso; son, Clarence Tso Sr.

Douglas Yazzie
STEAMBOAT/SANDERS — Funeral services for Douglas Ferninand Yazzie, 42, will be 1 p.m., Friday, July 1, at Cornfields Lighthouse Assembly of God. Brother Roy Begay will officiate. Burial will be in Ganado Community Cemetery.
Yazzie died June 25, 2011, in Ganado. He was born Oct. 3, 1968, in Apple Valley, Calif., into the Bitterwater People Clan for the Edgewater People Clan.
Yazzie graduated from Cornfields Christian Day School, Fort Lewis College, NPC. He did housing construction and highway construction. He was in the Gulf War and Desert Storm as a field radio operator. Yazzie received several medals and honors. He was in the Marines as Lance Corporal between 1987-1991, before he was honorably discharged. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Mose; daughters, Sierra Yazzie, Kristen Yazzie; step-daughter, Monique Mose; parents, Danny Yazzie Sr., Emily B. Murray; brothers, Danny Yazzie Jr., Emmanuel Yazzie; sisters, Cecelia Stewart, Gennie Yazzie, Bernadette King; grandmother, Emma Joe; two grandchildren.
Yazzie was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Joe, Benjamin and Virginia Bahe; brother, Christopher Yazzie.
Pallbearers will be Jared Tom, Nigel Yesslith, David Jackson, Lawrence Littleman, John Johns III, Kyle Miller.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Emma Joe’s residence, Steamboat, following services.
